Community Meeting – February 21, 2018
Progress continues at the Transbay Transit Center construction site with the continuation of sidewalk concrete placement at the Ground Level especially along Minna and Natoma streets. Escalator/elevator final installations, metal ceiling panel installation along with mechanical, electrical and plumbing work are all underway.
TJPA staff is also developing a Code of Conduct for the Salesforce Transit Center and invites interested members of the public to attend one of two meetings on the subject. The Code of Conduct will allow the transit center to fulfill its functions as a transportation facility; guard the health, safety, and security of the public; minimize congestion and promote efficient movement of transit users, while facilitating diverse public uses of the facility in a manner that is sensitive to the purposes, physical design, and security needs of specific spaces.
Join us for a community meeting on Wednesday, February 21, 2018 to learn more about the construction activities and the proposed Code of Conduct. This meeting will be held at 12 noon at the TJPA offices located at 201 Mission Street, Suite 2100. We appreciate you taking your lunch hour to learn about this innovative project, and welcome you to bring food or drinks to this meeting.
