This work, which is incorporated within the base of Seven World Trade Center, is a collaboration with architect Skidmore, Owings & Merrill. Composed of two layers of stainless steel louvers that allow adequate ventilation for the electrical transformers while shielding them from view and reflect the sunlight with its prismatic surfaces. At night, the building glows from within with a programmable LED lighting system that responds to movement of passersby with 80-foot bars of color.
